I Believe in Climate Change

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.

There is nothing so constant as change. The clouds rolling over our heads today will be replaced by a new set of circumstances completely different than the day before. The months flow naturally into years and before we know it, life has expired, and we stand before our Maker. Having said all that, the year 2020 will, no doubt, go down as one of the worst in this century. Civil unrest, political upheaval, and a world-wide pandemic has descended upon us with little warning. Any one of these would be enough to send a stress fraction throughout our world, but all of these at once has threatened to open a cavernous divide, pulling us all into the abyss of despondency.

What we desperately need is climate change. Yes, you read that correctly, climate change. I believe in climate change. Now I know many of you are deniers but the need for such an altercation to our present world-wide situation should cause even the most ardent of opponents to fall to their knees in repentance. After listening to my well-thought out argument, I have no doubt that you will become a believer too.

The climate of our present state of affairs is so poisoned with hate and fraught with sickness and discouragement that our only hope is for the entire human experiment to be scrapped in order to bring about a new world order. Now I know we have pulled ourselves out of terrible fixes now and again in the past, but this present dilemma cries out for a new beginning. The only thing that would change the climate of our world and the climate change that I am advocating is the return of the Son of man, Jesus Christ. His appearance on the clouds of glory will instantly change our current climate forever.

Only Jesus can bring the climate change this world is crying out for but unable to achieve. He alone can bring peace and healing to a fractured world. As a side benefit of His return He will also institute the new green deal. Our planet will thrive again as the polluted oceans are instantly cleaned and the woodlands are restored to their original glory. Air pollution will be eradicated, and we will return to a planet much like the garden of Eden. The green new deal that Jesus will bring with him will cost us nothing, but it will be priceless to see and experience.

Let the advocates who warned us of climate change and promote their trillion-dollar new green deal be forever silenced. Climate change is exactly what we need but unlike the warning of a climate change that would destroy us, this sudden altercation of our present toxic climate is exactly what we need. Jesus will bring a climate change instantly and it will forever be rejoiced over. And that is why I am a great advocate of climate change.
